Skateboarders Learn, Grow, and Help the Planet at Frodsham Skate Camp

Skateboarders Learn, Grow, and Help the Planet at Frodsham Skate Camp

Frodsham Leisure Centre hosted an exciting Skate Camp for young skateboarders on April 1st, 2023 in association with Bolts SKate School and Chin Club. The event, which welcomed all levels of skateboarders between the ages of 5 and 18, allowed participants to enhance their skills, have fun, and learn from Skateboard GB coaches.

The facility's large open indoor area and mini ramp provided the perfect backdrop for the young skateboarders to enjoy. The coaches were enthusiastic and encouraging, providing individualised instruction to each participant. Regardless of skill level, many young people showed significant progress by the end of the camp.

In addition to providing an excellent learning environment, the Skate Camp was also environmentally conscious. The event's sponsor, carma.earth, pledged to plant a tree for every ticket sold, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

Participants were advised to come prepared with plenty of energy, flat shoes, and hydration. The event was a huge success, with many young people expressing their excitement for future Skate Camps.

The event organisers were thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback from participants. They hoped that the event would inspire young people to take up skateboarding as a fun and healthy activity while also promoting environmental sustainability through the partnership with carma.earth.
